Adding Notes to Ro’s

Step 1: #

Click on the RO card that you want to add a note to. This will bring up the RO Information dialog box. Navigate to and click on the “Notes” tab. Be aware that the text of this tab could be in gray, indicating that no notes have been added yet to this RO.

Step 2: #

Click on the “Enter Note” button.

Step 3: #

Enter your note in the text field and click “Save”.

On the dialog box for entering a note, you also have the ability to select a technician or employee to send an SMS alert to. Simply check the box next to the technicians name or select the employee from the drop-down box and click the green “Send Text & Save” button.

Result: #

Your note will now be displayed and date-stamped. While you cannot edit a created note, you can still choose to have this note send via SMS text by clicking on the message icon to the right of the note field. This will bring up the Note dialog box again where you can select a technician or employee as shown in Step 3 above.

After exiting the RO Information dialog box altogether, a yellow Notes icon will be added to the RO card, indicating that a new note has been added. After 24 hours have elapsed, the yellow icon will be replaced with a gray icon.
