Managing Parts

To manage the parts required for an RO, click on the RO card and navigate to the “Parts” tab. All parts required for a repair will be shown here. You have options to mark parts as Received, Backordered, or Essential. Additionally, you can unmark parts as well.

  1. Part hasn’t been marked as Received, Backordered, or Essential
  2. Part has been marked as Received – shown in green
  3. Part has been marked as Backordered – shown in red
  4. Part has been marked as Essential – shown as checked in right column

Selecting Parts #

You can select a part or parts to be marked as received, backordered, or essential in one of three ways. You can (1) single-click a line item, (2) shift-click a range of items, or (3) control-click to select various items.

Marking Parts #

After using one of the methods outlined above, simply click the “Received”, “BkOrdered”, or “Essential” button to mark your parts with that designation. Additionally, you can also unreceive an item, or remove the backordered/essential designation by clicking the appropriate “Undo” button.

Result #

Returning to the Production Accelerator dashboard, you will now see a flag for the number of parts that are still waiting to be received, if any parts are backordered, or if any essential parts are still missing. Now, at quick glance, you’ll have an idea of the status of parts for any RO.
